All agencies including members of the District Council, the volunteer sector and local people are being asked to give their support to Spring Clean Ilfracombe in April this year. Businesses and householders will be encouraged to give their premises a face-lift and improve the environment in which we live. North Devon District Councillor, Paul Yabsley, who is heading the project is also asking for local people to identify problem areas so a programme of work can be started to rectify them. North Devon Voluntary Services has already pledged support.Paul says: ‘It’s not about spending a vast amount of money but co-ordination and education.
