Arlington is a tiny village close to barnstaple. It's main claim to fame is Arlington Court and this alone makes it well worth a visit. The village has some very pretty properties and being set in a rural area there are some very pleasant country walks. The ancient church of St james is interesting in itself and worthy of note.
