What is Smith's all about? this is what we, as a family thought.

As our dear old Dad died in 1999, and Mum being on her own, she was not eating properly. You know what it's like when you are on your own, you just can't be bothered to cook for yourself every night and as both my brother and I have lived on our own we have done the same thing.. Keebab one night, burger the next, you know how it goes.

How much we would have loved to have a great cook, so we could eat good healthy food every other day.

Now we have the answer.

As a youngster coming home from school every night what did you ask your mum, we all did, I will tell you -

MUM WHAT'S FOR DINNER TONIGHT?

So our idea is to supply you with jolly good home cooked food. You can buy - take home and pop it in the oven or nuke it in the microwave and, most of all, sit down and enjoy a proper home cooked meal.

The choice to eat healthily is yours. given the chance would you rather pay a couple of quid for a piece of rubbish in a box from a supermarket or have a choice of fresh home cooked food.

We carefully control sugar and fat levels and the only salt we use is for seasoning. We use all locally sourced produce. This means Ilfracombe High Street can survive the onslaught of the multinationals.

Lunch can be fun again. A delivery service will be coming soon.

Of course the oldies among us are not stuck with frozen meals on wheels. Instead we can have Meals on Legs.

Come and give us a try, you will find that food is edible and enjoyable again.
